SCUZZY DATA A.K.A. THE COMPLAINTS DEPARTMENT

MENU NAVIGATION
NOT A BIG COMPLAINT, BUT MENU NAVIGATION THROUGH THE SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIALS DISC SEEMS KIND OF ODD, AS INPUT DOES NOT ALWAYS HIGHLIGHT THE EXPECTED FEATURE AND ACCESSING AN OPTION DOESN'T NECESSARILY TAKE YOU THERE!  COULD THIS BE A PROGRAMMING GLITCH?  GO FIGURE!

USER INPUT A.K.A. FINAL THOUGHTS

MUSIC:

INCLUDED ARE TWO ALTERNATE-MUSIC SEQUENCES FROM TRON, FEATURING ELECTRONIC MUSIC COMPOSED BY WENDY CARLOS.

1) LIGHTCYCLE SEQUENCE AS ORIGINALLY SCORED:  CARLOS' SCORE, AS USED HERE, EFFECTIVELY DESTROYS THE DRAMATIC IMPACT OF THE SEQUENCE, AND IS ACTUALLY QUITE ANNOYING.  THE VERSION OF THIS SCENE USED IN THE FINAL CUT OF TRON DELETES THE MUSIC TRACK WHILE RETAINING ALL OTHER DIALOGUE AND SOUND EFFECTS.  A WISE DECISION... THANK THE USERS!

2) END CREDITS: CARLOS' END CREDIT SCORE IN IT'S ENTIRETY.  ETHEREAL AND LIGHT, THE SCORE CASTS A REFLECTIVE MOOD FOR THE FILM'S CONCLUSION, THEN SEGUES INTO OTHER THEMES HEARD IN THE MOVIE.  THE RELEASED VERSION PAIRS THE FIRST PART OF WENDY CARLOS' SCORE WITH THE SONG 'ONLY SOLUTIONS' BY THE GROUP JOURNEY.  NOT SUCH A WISE A DECISION!  (JOURNEY... DIDN'T THEY HAVE THEIR OWN VIDEO GAME?)

(YES, GO AHEAD AND LAUGH...)  RUNTIME 2.5 MINUTES.

4)  ENCOM 511 TRAILER #2:  FOCUSES ON 'THE STARTLING NEW WORLD WHERE TIME AND DISTANCE DEFY THE LAWS OF LOGIC!'  (NOW WHAT THE HECK IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?)  RUNTIME 1.5 MINUTES.

5)  ENCOM 511 TRAILER #3:  (OH, BOY... NO WONDER NO ONE TOOK THIS MOVIE SERIOUSLY WHEN IT WAS ORIGINALLY RELEASED!)  RUNTIME 1.5 MINUTES.

THREE DELETED SCENE SEGMENTS ARE INCLUDED, ALONG WITH AN INTRODUCTION TO THE DELETED SCENES.
