Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon: The Awful Truth

                                 The name of the Kevin Bacon game is derived from a theory,
                                 proposed in the John Guare play "Six Degrees of Separation",
                                 that every person on Earth can be connected using six or less
                                 associations.
   

In 1994, three frat guys from Albright College; Craig Fass, Mike Ginelli, and Brian Turtle, decided that Kevin Bacon would be a good test of this theory.  Actually, the truth be told, they had been drinking a bit of Southern Comfort, discovered that the word "separation" sounds like "Kevin Bacon", were overwhelmingly amused by that, and invented the now famous game.
   
So, Kevin Bacon is not the center of the Showbiz Universe.  Everyone is!
